How to Become a Member

Since 2007 a small group has worked on creating Dutchess County Bounty, to connect local farmers with local restaurants and provide consumers information on where to go to buy and eat local farm fresh foods.

The information provided here in this Farm to Chef project was compiled by Hudson Valley AgriBusiness Development Corp. in partnership with Dutchess County Tourism, the Northern Dutchess Alliance, Dutchess Economic Development Corp. and with additional funding provided by a generous Dutchess County resident.

The goal was to contact every farmer and chef in the county, to see if they were interested in doing business locally. In all, 154 farms, 12 farmers’ markets, 8 processors and 220 restaurants were contacted, with 61 farms and 100 chefs signing on for the initial listing.

Dutchess County Bounty was launched in February 2009.

All Dutchess farmers and chefs are welcome to join, as are the all-important end-user, the consumer. We invite you to support this important program by becoming a Charter Member today. Members receive special benefits throughout the year.
